The Orange Tree Foundation is pleased to announce the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding with the University of Engineering and Technology (Lahore), an initiative that affirms a mutual commitment towards providing quality higher education to financially marginalised students.
The Memorandum was signed on April 28th, 2026, by Simrah Khaled, Senior Manager Partnerships, OTF, and Professor Dr Shahid Munir, Vice Chancellor, UET at UET Lahore’s GT road campus. Shortly after the signing, the OTF team also toured the campus and witnessed the state-of-the-art engineering equipment, machinery, and student facilities available at UET that future OTF scholars will benefit from.
The partnership seeks to combine the established academic infrastructure of UET Lahore with OTF’s proven model of providing holistic scholarships to financially disadvantaged students. The agreement seeks to strengthen our mutual commitment to expand educational opportunities and deepen our joint impact in all the provinces of Pakistan.
