The Orange Tree Foundation continued its impactful Mentoring Minds series with a new season, beginning with the session “Beyond Struggles and Stories of Success” on 23rd August, 2025, at Habitt City, Karachi.
This season builds on OTF’s commitment to providing young scholars and alumni with platforms where they can engage with accomplished professionals, exchange ideas, and learn from real-world journeys of resilience and achievement. The session highlighted how struggles are not setbacks but stepping stones toward growth and success.
The panel featured inspiring professionals from diverse fields: Muhammad Taha Siddiqui (Executive-Operations, Electropolymer Private Limited), Umaima Jawaid (Executive Legal & Corporate Affairs, International Steels Limited), Asra Gulzar (Research Analyst, Eastern Garments), and Muhammad Shayan (DevOps Engineer, Contour Software). Each speaker shared how determination and perseverance shaped their career paths, offering valuable insights to the audience.
The program was led by Adeel Azhat, Program Lead at OTF, who emphasized the importance of continuing such platforms to strengthen the bond between OTF scholars, alumni, and role models from various industries.
The stories resonated deeply with attendees. Current OTF scholars gained fresh perspectives, while alumni reflected on their own experiences and acknowledged how much they also learned from the scholars. This exchange reaffirmed that mentorship is never one-sided, it is a cycle of shared wisdom and growth.
The continuation of Mentoring Minds demonstrates OTF’s dedication to going beyond financial support, building a culture of inspiration, resilience, and ambition within its community.
With this new season underway, the Mentoring Minds series will keep bringing powerful stories that celebrate perseverance and success, inspiring tomorrow’s leaders through shared experiences.
