As part of our holistic support and student development programs, the Orange Tree Foundation (OTF) recently rewarded its high-achieving scholars with an exciting padel gameday experience at Padelverse. The event celebrated the students’ hard work and dedication by blending recognition with recreation, giving them the opportunity to enjoy one of the fastest-growing sports in the world.
The event brought together around twenty to twenty-five OTF scholars for an energetic and engaging session filled with teamwork, laughter, and friendly competition. Six courts were reserved exclusively for the group, allowing every participant to take part and experience the thrill of the game. The students truly enjoyed meeting other OTF scholars in a setting that was different from their usual speaker sessions and workshops. It offered them a refreshing break from routine — a chance to relax, play, and connect with one another in a fun, casual environment. For many, it was also their very first time playing padel, which made the experience even more memorable.
One of the parents shared how pleasantly surprised he was to see this kind of activity taking place in Pakistan. He mentioned that he hadn’t known about padel before and was thrilled that his daughter got the opportunity to experience something so unique.
Beyond the game itself, the event helped students build confidence, teamwork, and friendships. These values reflect OTF’s ongoing commitment to supporting students through well-rounded and meaningful learning experiences. Working with Padelverse made this initiative even more special, creating a space where success was celebrated not just through awards, but through joy, connection, and shared experiences.
The Padel Gameday served as a reminder that learning extends far beyond the classroom, and that celebrating effort, excellence, and community spirit is at the heart of what OTF stands for.
