In its commitment to increase higher education access regardless of financial means, the Orange Tree Foundation has signed a Memorandum of Understanding with the Cordoba Care Institute to sponsor deserving students in the healthcare industry, and expand their access to quality education. Through educational opportunity and financial support, this collaboration can help build and sustain Pakistan’s healthcare workforce.
The partnership focuses on supporting high merit students who aspire to have a career in the healthcare industry, but face financial barriers to professional training. By removing said barriers, this collaboration can ensure that deserving individuals have the capability of serving in Pakistan’s healthcare sector, regardless of their economic background.
The MoU will create multiple avenues of impact such as providing financial assistance to deserving students, removing barriers to professional healthcare training, building a stronger and more skilled workforce for Pakistan, and creating lasting change through education. The alliance recognises that healthcare education requires specialised training and resources, and financial support to students from under-privileged backgrounds is a crucial step in realising the full potential of the Pakistan healthcare industry.
The partnership entails a fusion of Cordoba Care Institute expertise in healthcare education and training with Orange Tree Foundation’s proven model of holistic student support. Together, the organisations will create pathways for talented individuals to become healthcare professionals and serve communities across Pakistan.
The partnership is led by the spirit that when we invest in students, we invest in the future of Pakistan.
